Hoogwerf & co was formed in 1970 as a firm of UK Chartered Accountants based in Luxembourg. They are specialised in cross border taxation matters.
The firm represents clients in numerous corporate transactions, including asset and stock acquisitions/sales, buy/sell deals, service agreements, asset protection agreements and the formation of companies/joint ventures internationally.
The Company assists in finalizing escrow agreements, commercial and service general contracts while providing a financial and business visions of the business transaction. Hoogewerf & Co. evaluates all different pros and cons together with its customers and provides them (wherever they are carrying out their business), with tailor-made contractual solutions that always meet their expectations. Apart from this, the Company provides project research and advisory services both on buy- and sell-side and assists with their implementation.

Francis Hoogewerf FCA was qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant in 1966. And has since qualified as a Luxembourg Expert Comptable. During the early seventies he set up offices in Bruxelles, Guernsey, Geneva and Montecarlo. After about 25 years he sold these offices and consolidated his position in Luxembourg. In Luxembourg he has specialised independant experts with whom he practices. They range from lawyers to crypto experts in Luxembourg. As a firm Hoogewerf & Co work in particular with China and Russia as well as the UK. And they are specialists in Luxembourg Investment Fund investigations. The Fund specialist in the office is Tudor Fedeles.
