TURCZA Law Firm supports young students to make their educational dreams come true
TURCZA Law Firm carries out the mission in line with the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility, going far beyond providing legal services to entrepreneurs through involvement in charitable and educational initiatives. One of such activities is the ongoing legal and material support provided to the Duda Family Foundation, established in 2004.
The foundation was established by Bogna Duda-Jankowiak and brothers Maciej and Marcin Duda in order to provide help and support for young, talented people from poorer families. Throughout 14 years of its activity, the Foundation has implemented a large number of projects of a social, educational and cultural nature, as well as introduced innovative ideas that have an impact on improving the conditions of educating children and young people in difficult financial situation. In addition to equalizing social opportunities, the Foundation undertakes charity activities for the benefit of the local community.
They (students) dream of becoming a biotechnologist, athlete, dancer, architect, nurse or traveler. These are the children who expect that their dream job would give them joy and satisfaction. – And we want to help them make their dreams come true – emphasizes Bogna Duda-Jankowiak, the chairman of the Foundation’s council, – What is more we are now planning to support new young talents – she adds.
Professional activities in the area of social responsibility (CSR) are nowadays an element of modern management. In 2004, the activities of the Foundation with (CSR) were, however, much ahead of the later “fashion” for running them. At that time, only the largest domestic entities and concerns with foreign capital implemented them. Their implementation was the proof of the social and civic maturity. Today, it pays off with experience in carrying them out.
Let’s see what young people, the Foundation scholarship holders, say about the Foundation itself, its activities and the impact of the aid received on their lives:
► Kornelia – Thanks to the Foundation, I can improve myself and my passion in 100%. Thanks to the workshops, I gained new experiences. The Foundation is such an investment in yourself!
► Maja – Being a scholarship holder, and I’ve been with the Foundation for 7 years, has helped me a lot. Thanks to this, I am in my dream field of study, which is architecture. Thanks to institutions such as the Foundation and people who create them, people like me have a chance to do what they love.
► Anita – I looked at my problems in a different perspective. I really got to know myself. I realized that the key to my goal is self-confidence.
Supporting talented, knowledge-hungry students with interests covering probably every scientific field is not only an important initiative, but also an investment in the future of our country, and we are proud to say that TURCZA Law Firm is a part of this incredible project..
